Show Your Work at Flow
Flow is an artists’ organization whose purpose is to display, promote and sell members' and consignors' original and handmade work in a beautiful downtown retail setting.
We are always interested in having fresh new work by local and regional artists at Flow; currently, we're featuring the works of roughly 60 local and regional artists. Applications will be considered January 1 through October 31.
Becoming a consigning artist at Flow:
1. Stop by Flow to get a feel for whether your work would be a good fit with the work currently in our gallery. Is it of similar (or higher) quality?
2. If you decide to apply, send three to five digital images representative of your work to email@example.com with a short note expressing interest in being considered as a consignor. Please include:
> The price for your work -- gallery commission is 40%, so you will receive 60% of the retail price you set.
> A short biography -- what education and experience brought you to your craft.
> An artist statement -- the story of why you do what you do, including a description of how your work is made, and the process and materials you employ.
> A photo of you, preferably at work in your studio or workplace.
3. All work at Flow is juried. Applications are reviewed as received and the review process usually takes two to four weeks.
The jury will consider creativity, craftsmanship, price and customer appeal.
If accepted, a contract will be sent to the artist. After it is signed, a time will be set to deliver work to the gallery.
Placement of work on the floor of Flow is at the discretion of the Floor Display Committee.
